# Battle of Grunwald (1410)

On 15 July 1410 the armies of Poland and Lithuania under Władysław II Jagiełło and Vytautas routed the Teutonic Knights. Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen was killed with much of the Order's leadership. It was one of the largest battles of medieval Europe.

It broke the Teutonic Order's military power permanently.
