# Diet of Worms and Eternal Peace (1495)

At the Diet of Worms in 1495 Maximilian I proclaimed the Eternal Public Peace, banning private feuds. The Imperial Chamber Court was created as the highest court. The empire was later divided into Imperial Circles.
