# Battle of White Mountain (1620)

On 8 November 1620 imperial and Catholic League forces defeated the Bohemian rebels near Prague. Frederick V of the Palatinate, the 'Winter King', fled. Bohemia was re-Catholicised by force.

It gave the Habsburgs a decisive early victory.
