# Bach's Brandenburg Concertos (1721)

In 1721 Johann Sebastian Bach dedicated six concertos to the Margrave of Brandenburg. In 1723 he became cantor of St Thomas in Leipzig, composing the St Matthew Passion and many cantatas. His work marks the peak of Baroque music.
