# Battle of Rossbach (1757)

On 5 November 1757 in the Seven Years' War, Frederick the Great routed a much larger Franco-imperial army at Rossbach in under two hours. A month later he beat the Austrians at Leuthen. His victories made him a hero across Protestant Europe.
