# Battle of Austerlitz (1805)

On 2 December 1805 Napoleon defeated the Austrian and Russian emperors at Austerlitz. In the Peace of Pressburg Austria lost territory to Bavaria and Württemberg, which became kingdoms. The empire was near its end.
