# Battle of Leipzig (1813)

From 16 to 19 October 1813 armies of Prussia, Austria, Russia and Sweden defeated Napoleon at Leipzig. It was the largest battle in Europe before World War I, with about 600,000 soldiers. Napoleon's rule in Germany collapsed.

It freed Germany from French domination.
