# Treaty of Versailles (1919)

On 28 June 1919 Germany signed the Treaty of Versailles. It lost Alsace-Lorraine, large territories to Poland and all colonies, had to limit its army to 100,000 men and pay reparations. The war guilt clause caused outrage.
